Diane Murray, Program Director

Diane Murray manages Rick’s Place programs and services. She is a retired public educator and holds bachelor and master degrees in education from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She taught in the Springfield Public Schools, supervised educational programs for migrant children, served as an educational consultant to area school districts, and for twenty-six years, was the coordinator/teacher of an early childhood program in in the Hadley Public Schools.


Therese  Ross, Program Coordinator

Therese has spent her career teaching people how to connect with one another. She brings 19 years of experience as an educator to her role as Program Coordinator at Rick's Place. It is a position in which she supports families in the present moment of their losses and facilitates effective communication to aid in their grief journey. Therese has served as an early learning specialist supporting families, as a mediator and workshop presenter, is on the Patient/Family Advisory Council at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and is a Board Member of Hospice of the Fisher
